SH002 CURRENTLY SOLD OUT
A split release between new drone artist Hex Signals and seasoned ambient mastermind Cory Strand. Hex Signals is an alternate project of Harrison Phillis (Lost Graves, ex-We Also Let Blood, Systems.) and this side features one track reaching the 53 minute mark of very slowly evolving ambient drone. It is the second release from this project. Cory Strand has amassed many releases under his own name as well as other monikers (i.e. Eugene Critchley, Dejection, Eismond) but these two tracks are by no means a flash in the pan, each is a carefully and lusciously constructed, beautiful yet crushing track of unfolding, wistful ambient. Cory also provided the artwork for this release, with a photograph in a style that is very recognizable as his own. An offering not to be missed by either project.
Limited to 10 unnumbered copies, DIY dubbed and DIY printed on 110lb cardstock.
5 available direct from label, and 5 available from Cory himself.
